Easter Sunday is a special day to celebrate Christ and His atonement. It's easy sometimes to focus on the fun of hunting for eggs or eating Reese's pastel eggs, but Easter is so much more than that. I'm grateful that the Gospel teaches us it is important to remember Christ's sacrifice and resurrection more than just once a year. We take the sacrament every Sunday and we can pray for forgiveness daily. I am so grateful for my knowledge that Christ rose from the tomb and that He lives and loves me. I hope I can better apply His atonement in my life.
